The research project at the Frauenhofer Institute for Applied Polymer Research is quite a challenge, as the special features of the twin-shaft mixer are extremely demanding from a manufacturing point of view. When the Munich-based machine and plant manufacturer ZETTL and Halmosi, a specialist in contract manufacturing and industrial services, work together, the result is innovation. The technical article highlights seven success factors from the collaboration between the two medium-sized companies.
