ZETTL GmbH and IHK Sangerhausen want to network and make the district of Mansfeld-Südharz more attractive. Karsten Gödicke, Head of the Technical Center at ZETTL GmbH, and Björn Bosse, Head of the Sangerhausen Chamber of Industry and Commerce, met to discuss a common topic: how can the attractiveness of the district be increased and skilled workers developed?

When it comes to refurbishment or recycling technologies, ZETTL GmbH is often involved and plays an important role on the international markets. And so there are many products "Made in Mansfeld Südharz" in the USA, India and Europe. All planned processes and products in the portfolio can be tested in the test laboratory at the ZETTL technical center.

The Sangerhausen Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) is aware of the shortage of skilled workers and offers its support to SMEs through its broad network. The internship platform www.hallo-beruf.de, training workshops, the JETZT#KÖNENLERNEN vocational training campaign and the district's returnee campaign are just a few of the ways in which the Chamber can attract skilled workers who identify with the region.

A first step has been taken and ZETTL GmbH is presented as an example of how to locate and invest in 2024 in the online annual report of the Halle-Dessau Chamber of Industry and Commerce. The investments made by the Munich-based machine and plant manufacturer ZETTL in the southern Harz region are encouraging. The machines planned and designed in Berga are exported all over the world.
