Gentle drying process

Paddle dryers are used for the gentle drying of pasty to moist crumbly products. Pulpy wet products can also be processed. The product is fed and discharged mechanically. Continuous repositioning of the goods on the heating surfaces ensures a high drying speed.

The main component is the cylindrical housing with built-in paddle mechanism - both of which can be heated. Thermal oil, steam and hot water can be used as the heating medium. Alternatively, electric or inductive heating can be used, especially at higher temperatures.
The agitator blade unit constantly loosens the dry material, mixes it radially and axially and ensures uniform thermal treatment.
